CCTV Systems Training – Overview

 

The purpose of this training session is to build a solid working knowledge of Honeywell Video Solutions. This training will cover analog, Hybrid and IP solutions and products. Hands-on exercises will help the attendees to build experience on the subjects.

The following items will be discussed during the training session:

  • Fusion IV DVR and storage solutions
  • Fusion IV NVR
  • HRDP DVR
  • Fusion Video Management Software for Fusion and HRDP DVRs.
  • IP cameras (Standard 4CIF, Megapixel, High Definition)
  • Video analytics
  • Videoblox Analog Matrix

At the end of the course all students will receive a complimentary CD which contains Product documentation, product related tools, presentations.

 

Training Hardware Equipments

 

For hands-on sessions, there are 5 sets of hardware with the following items. This is intended for 10 participants and 1 set to be shared by 2 attendees.

 

  • 1 Laptop
  • Set of IP cameras (01 Megapixel, 01 HD, 01 4CIF)
  • IP Utility Software
  • FVMS Software
  • HRDP Remote Software
  • Fusion Remote Software
  • Videoblox Configuration software

 

Software

Each student will learn how to perform a complete installation of the softwares mentioned above.. Students will learn as well how to configure the DVRs using the remote softwares and how to set-up the IP cameras prior to adding them to the Fusion DVR/NVR.

  • Set-up of recording schedule (motion detection, continuous, sensor input.)
  • Set-up and connection of a PTZ camera
  • Set-up and connection of HJZTPX keyboard
  • Hands-on session
  • FVMS Presentation
  • FVMS Installation and set-up
  • Add-on of Fusion DVR to FVMS software
  • Set-up and configuration of multiple DVRs using FVMS software
  • Creation of customized scenes
  • Alarm Management (motion detection, senor inputs, video loss)
  • Add-on of Maps and site layout
  • Health-check configuration
  • User Management and authority levels
  • Search of recorded videos
  • Network Backup (scheduled and manual)
  • Clip export
  • Network bandwidth and storage calculation
